- About this project
This is an independent reference site about fuel prices across areas of the United Kingdom. It is run privately and funded privately. Independent site. Not affiliated with DESNZ, the CMA or any fuel retailer.
Since 2026 forecourts have had to report their prices, and the Fuel Finder service publishes the result twice a day. That file answers one question well: what does this station charge right now. It answers a different question badly, because nobody can hold a file twice a day and remember it: how do prices in this area behave over a week, how far apart are the sites, and does one brand sit consistently above the others nearby. We keep the history and publish those answers as area figures.
We publish no station prices and no station rankings, no editor photograph and nothing to subscribe to. For the price right now, the publisher's own service is the place to look, and we link it on every page.
The full service terms for the published file were not retrievable when we checked, so we hold to the narrowest reading: keep the file private, publish derived figures only, credit the source on every page, and change or withdraw anything the publisher asks us to.

What this does not mean
What this page does not show
It does not tell you what a named station charges. Only area figures are published, and a station price never appears here in any form.
It does not tell you today's price. A median describes a past window of reported prices; for the price right now, use the Fuel Finder service run by the department, which we link on every page.
It does not say anyone broke a rule. A price that did not move is not evidence of a missing report or of a breach of the reporting rules.
It does not promise a saving. A difference between two area medians is a description of history, not a forecast of what you would pay.
It does not cover a collection we did not make. A repeated file does not add a day. Each page states how many scheduled collections were made and how many distinct publisher releases they hold.
