Two kinds of mistake can reach this site, and they have different homes.
If a price for a station is wrong, that belongs to the retailer that reported it and to the Fuel Finder service that publishes it. We never show a station price, so there is nothing to correct on our pages. The route for a reported price is the publisher's own support contact, and a corrected price reaches our figures with the next accepted file.
If one of our area figures is wrong, that is ours. A median that does not match the days behind it, a window labelled seven days while holding five, a spread published for a district with four reporting stations, a brand figure built from unmatched days, or a figure that cannot be reproduced from the files we kept: those are defects and we want them reported.
Tell us the district, the fuel grade, the window and the day you were reading. We keep every accepted file, so any published figure can be rebuilt exactly.
When a published figure changes for any reason other than new source files, the change appears on the release notes page with its date and cause. We publish derived figures only, not the file itself, and if the publisher asks us to change or remove something, we will.

For the price right now, use the Fuel Finder service run by the department.

What this does not mean
What this page does not show
It does not tell you what a named station charges. Only area figures are published, and a station price never appears here in any form.
It does not tell you today's price. A median describes a past window of reported prices; for the price right now, use the Fuel Finder service run by the department, which we link on every page.
It does not say anyone broke a rule. A price that did not move is not evidence of a missing report or of a breach of the reporting rules.
It does not promise a saving. A difference between two area medians is a description of history, not a forecast of what you would pay.
It does not cover a collection we did not make. A repeated file does not add a day. Each page states how many scheduled collections were made and how many distinct publisher releases they hold.
