The place pages publish figures calculated from the Fuel Finder file of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. The first possible day is {earliest}, if the window qualifies. This is not a promised publication date. Raw station rows stay off the page.
Each place page links its own aggregate table as CSV and as JSON. Both repeat the figures on the page that are not prices. A station price and the original file are absent from that download.
A page may name a fuel grade, a snapshot, a brand and a postcode district. It does not name a station and it does not print a station price.
Credit the source with the lines in the footer. Those lines name the file, the snapshot and the observation period. Service pages explain the figures. They do not add a place.

What this does not mean
What this page does not show
It does not tell you what a named station charges. Only area figures are published, and a station price never appears here in any form.
It does not tell you today's price. A median describes a past window of reported prices; for the price right now, use the Fuel Finder service run by the department, which we link on every page.
It does not say anyone broke a rule. A price that did not move is not evidence of a missing report or of a breach of the reporting rules.
It does not promise a saving. A difference between two area medians is a description of history, not a forecast of what you would pay.
It does not cover a collection we did not make. A repeated file does not add a day. Each page states how many scheduled collections were made and how many distinct publisher releases they hold.
